About Patrick Katongo
I am a seasoned IT and business professional with a diverse work experience and skills of which 15 years have been in ICT. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Information Technology from the University of Hertfordshire and currently pursuing a Masters in Project Planning Management with the Information and Technology University. I have been privileged to work with SGS, Sabmiller Plc (Zambia Bottlers and Zambia Breweries), Plan International, PwC and recently, World Vision International for 7 years. My work experience has enriched me in the provision of strategic leadership, IT Management, Operations, Customer service, Project management and Resource management. Additionally, having worked as part of the Senior/Core Leadership team of World Vision Zambia and providing well aligned Information Technology solutions to 9 Southern Africa Regional offices, I have an oversight of how the business is run at strategic level. This exposure, team work and leadership skills acquired over the years positions me to leverage technology as an enabler to help organisations achieve their mission. Ultimately, flexibility is what characterises me having worked for both the profit and not-for-profit multinational professional services; humanitarian; beverage; inspection, verification, testing and certification companies.
